Art Gallery 2

Many of the original paintings in our Art Gallery are mandalas - a sacred art form. "Mandala" is a Sanskrit word meaning "circle." A manadal represents wholeness and our relationship to the infinite.  Each mandala painting is an expression of our personal, inner journey to wholeness through the energy of our hearts.

Each of these designs is available as a 5 1/2" x 5 1/2 " gift card, as a lazer copy, and as an 8", 12" or 16" print mounted on black, mdf board ready for hanging. See ordering information for details.

Embracing Rose Heart

Painting by Marsha Donner

"I painted this rose as I was going through a journey into the Dark Night. It was proof for me that there was a way back to the light."

Earth Dance

Painting by Olivia Oso

“I painted this to honor both the diversity and the profound connection of women everywhere as we celebrate our life together on Mother Earth.”

Spirit Horses

Painting by Olivia Oso

"This painting captures the wild spirit that lives in all of us, asking us to connect to our instincts and to our heart."

Embodiment of Gaia

Painting by Olivia Oso (note: this card is 5 x 7)

"I painted this to honor Gaia. I believe that we are offspring of the living universe and our bodies are of this Earth. Gaia is Sacred Mother to all life and she teaches us to seonate with the Divine in all things."

All That Is

Painting by Wendy Jensen

"I have always been drawn to the OM symbol and its meaning of the Absolute, the universal symbol of creation. The OM symbol asks us to remember the unity between all people, creatures and things and to remember divine Truth."

Soft Eyes Speaking Silence

Painting by Marsha Donner

"I painted this as a tribute to my father, a quiet hero and lover of Mother Earth."

Dance of Life

Painting by Wendy Grace.

"I love to dance to the rhythm of drums and to be in groups where we are moving together. The rhythm connects our hearts and the dance frees our spirits. I painted this to celebrate the possibility that we can all dance together to the rhythm of our heartbeats."

Wild Beauty

Painting by Olivia Oso

"I was inspired to paint this afer I visited the famous French Lascaux Caves and experienced the oldest art in Europe. Later, I discovered the White Stallions of Camarague, who are the ancestors of the horses in the cave drawings. Called the "Guardians" by the local people, these horses embody the wild, free, and beautiful Spirit within me."

White Buffalo Calf Woman

Painting by Olivia Oso (note: this card is 5 x 7)

"I painted this to honor the White Buffalo Calf Woman. The Lakota believe that the White Buffalo Calf Woman was sent by Great Spirit to the Lakota Nation in a time of great need. She is believed to be the numan incarnation of the Buffalo. She brought the sacred ceremonies to the people. The sacred pipe (Chanupa) brings together the sacred Feminine and Masculine and united all beings. It contains the universe and all her relations and carries the Prayers of the people. We are asked "to walk like a living prayer," remembering the Sacred Hoop of Life...as we walk in Balance and Beauty."

Heart Throb

Painting by Marsha Donner

"This was a fun experiment in mixed media, keeping in mind the child within us all."

Reaching

Painting by Barb Timper

“I painted this to honor my summit of Mt Kilimanjaro, which has so much meaning to me. It was a significant physical challenge; a lesson in perseverance and a vision quest to find myself and my connection to God.  I wanted to capture that experience and my enjoyment of Tanzania and her people.”

Crown Chakra

Painting by Merilou Hundley

“This painting emerged as I sat in the beautiful energy of my soul sisters under a moon lit sky.  We had been deeply sharing our chakra energies and I was inspired by this to paint the faces of my lower and higher self and my connection to the Creator through my crown chakra.”

Motherland

Painting by Olivia Oso

“I am deeply affected by what is happening to the people of Africa and  I want to dedicate this painting to the women and children. In these times of great change and difficulty, may we remember the heart connection we all have with Africa and hear their voices.“
