Art from Our Hearts 2008
Art From Our Hearts raised over $2000 in 2008 to help the Central Asia Institute (www.ikat.org) build schools for girls in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Inspired by the work of Greg Mortensen in "Three Cups of Tea," we had sales and contributions from many in our community, our families, and from colleagues across the country. We are looking forward to continued support in 2009 as we continue to raise funds for the CAI for their important work.
A Journey of Hope
The CAI, founded by Greg Mortensen (“Three Cups of Tea”), collaborates with remote villages in the mountains of Pakistan and Afghanistan to build schools and help empower their communities. Greg lives in Bozeman MT and his inspiring story was chronicled in the Bozeman newspaper.
